Orders, Shipping & Returns 

ORDERING

You can order securely and efficiently via the Simone Platt Design website. We accept secure payment by Visa, Mastercard, Debit and Afterpay.

Once your order has been placed you will receive an email confirmation of your order. In due course you will also receive communication from Simone Platt Design regarding the processing and shipment of your jewellery.

As each piece is made to order, please allow up to 3 days for your order to be shipped and 7-10 days for delivery.


SHIPPING

AUSTRALIA 

  • Standard shipping is FREE for orders of $49.00 or more. 
  • A standard shipping rate of $12.00 is applied for orders under $49.00.
  • Goods are shipped via Australia Post.
  • Once your order is dispatched from the Studio, we will send you a tracking number which you can use to check the progress of your delivery.
  • Shipping time depends on your location in Australia. Standard shipping usually takes 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). 
  • Simone Platt Design is not responsible for any shipping delays.

RETURNS & WARRANTY

 

RETURNS

We hope you love your Simone Platt Design piece as much as Simone loved creating it, but if you are not 100% pleased with your purchase, you can return your piece for a online store credit within 14 days from the date the goods are shipped from the Simone Platt Design Studio.

We do not offer refunds due to a change of mind. A refund will only be offered if the item/s is deemed faulty due to a creation/manufacturing defect.

Due to hygiene standards, we are unable to accept earrings as returns (unless faulty).

If you are shopping for a gift for someone and are not 100% sure of what to purchase, a Simone Platt Design Gift Voucher is a great option.

In order to receive your online store credit, we must receive the item/s within 14 days from the date the goods are shipped from the Simone Platt Design Studio. Jewellery must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging.

Jewellery which has been worn or damaged is not eligible as a return. 

Goods come packaged with a polishing cloth and in appropriate packaging (box and/or pouch). Any of these items not returned along with the jewellery will incur a $3.00 item missing fee and will be deducted off your total credit. 

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to items in transit, so we recommend that you use fully insured/registered/trackable shipping (either via Australia Post or a reputable courier) that requires us to sign for the parcel upon receipt. 

We are unable to proceed with a store credit without receipt of goods and proof of return shipping payment.

Please email the Studio PRIOR to shipping your jewellery so we can confirm details with you & provide you with a Return Item Number (RIN). This number must accompany your returned piece so we can promptly organise your store credit etc.

WARRANTY

Simone creates each piece with dedication and attention to detail and offers a 3 Month Creation/Manufacturing Warranty. This Creation/Manufacturing Warranty is effective on any creation/manufacturing default only. Simone Platt Design reserved the right to determine if the piece has a creation/manufacturing default. Your Simone Platt Design warranty does not cover:

  • mishandling
  • excessive force on pieces such pulling, bending, or knocks 
  • inappropriate storage or use
  • normal, day to day wear and tear
  • normal tarnishing, ageing, degeneration, changes in appearance
  • misplacement, loss, theft
  • repairs made to an item not performed by Simone Platt Design

Simone Platt Design provides a comprehensive Product Care Guide. It is imperative that you follow these guidelines as refunds or store credits are not issued for non-creation/manufacturing defaults. If a piece is deemed to have a creation default, you have the option of a refund or store credit.

If you would like a repair made to your piece after the 3-month creation warranty period, please contact us via info@simoneplattdesign.com BEFORE you send your piece to us so we can organise an assessment and cost quote!
